Humidity
You have to maintain a very precise balance when it comes to humidity and cannabis. If your storage method introduces too much moisture, you run the risk of mould infestation. If it isn’t humid enough, though, the terpenes and cannabinoids will end up withering away. While they’re quite different outcomes, the unpleasantness is equal between them.
Temperature
Often going hand-in-hand with excess humidity, high temperatures can hasten the degradation of cannabinoids and terpenes. Generally, you should make sure your weed storage area doesn’t get hotter than 25.5ºC (78ºF). Simply enough, this is because any environment between 25.5–30ºC (78–86ºF) is prime for mildew and mould growth.
Light
In short, persistent UV light will land a heavy blow on the impact on terpenes, THC, and other cannabinoids. This is especially problematic in tropical areas, where it joins forces with humidity and heat to harm your stash.
Container Materials
Lastly, while many aren’t even aware of this, your container’s base material can have a direct impact on your weed’s ageing process. See, while many place their weed in plastic containers, the material can cause your stash to “sweat”. This means, as with actual sweating, your plant will release its inner moisture. It’ll end up dry and harsh as a result.
As weed is exposed to heat, oxygen, and UV light, the cannabinoids within, including THC, will begin to break down. It doesn’t happen too quickly, but the change can become noticeable after a few weeks. It won’t leave you sober, but a joint won’t get you as high as the one you rolled when you first got it.
Umidità

Temperatura
Molto Spesso di pari passo con l'eccesso di umidità, le alte temperature possono accelerare la degradazione di cannabinoidi e terpeni. Generalmente, bisognerebbe assicurarti che l'area di stoccaggio della spezia non superi i 25,5°C. Semplicemente per il fatto che qualsiasi ambiente tra i 25,5–30°C agevola la crescita di funghi e muffe.
Luce
La luce UV persistente sferrerà un duro colpo sull'impatto dei terpeni, THC ed altri cannabinoidi. Ciò è particolarmente problematico nelle aree tropicali, dove unisce le forze con l'umidità ed il calore per danneggiare la tua scorta.
Materiali del Contenitore
Infine, anche se molti non ne sono consapevoli, il materiale di base del tuo contenitore può avere un impatto diretto sul processo di invecchiamento della tua spezia. Molti conservano la loro sostanza in contenitori di plastica, questo materiale può far “sudare” la tua scorta. Ciò significa che, come con la vera sudorazione, la tua pianta rilascerà la sua umidità interna. Di conseguenza, finirà per diventare secca e poco gradevole al palato.
Quando la spezia viene esposta al calore, all'ossigeno ed alla luce UV, i cannabinoidi contenuti al suo interno (incluso il THC) inizieranno a degradarsi. Questo non accade così velocemente, ma il cambiamento può diventare evidente dopo poche settimane. Non ti lascerà sobrio, ma una canna non ti farà sballare come quella che hai rollato la prima volta che l'hai usata.

The Jar is made of amber glass, approx.3.5 mm thick, in order to filter sunlight and UV rays.
Another feature is the double seal, conceived and designed to keep oxygen, temperature and ideal humidity inside the jar.
These datas will be available on the display of the thermo-hygrometer on the jar.
Each Jar has a serial number placed under the cap, so as to guarantee the originality of the product.
Ice Plug Jar V3.0 nasce dal desiderio di mantenere le proprie spezie al sicuro da i vari agenti atmosferici che le possono rovinare.
Il Jar è fatto in vetro ambrato, spesso 3,5 mm circa, che permette di filtrare la luce solare ed i raggi uv.
Un altra caratteristica è la doppia guarnizione, ideata e pensata per mantenere ossigeno, temperatura ed umidità ideale all'interno del barattolo.
Questi ultimi dati saranno disponibili sul display del termo-igrometro del jar.
Ogni Jar possiede un numero seriale posto sotto al tappo, così da garantire l'originalità del prodotto.
